Is HAL 3000 capable of autonomic learning? Does he come to a certain point where he can learn on his own? Or is he capable of learning on his own from the beginning?

Also, is it possible to train 3000 without using the wrong command? I remember that 2000 could learn fairly rapidly without the wrong command, and of course, learned faster by using the wrong command.

From what I am reading in other posts, 3000 does not learn by the old no wrong method. However, 2003 did. And according to the creating a new hal section on the main page, 2003 is still available for public use. How do I go about creating a freshcopy of hal2003? Everytime I try, Alan tries to tell me about 2003.

have you tried messing around with the newer hal version? It had a brain editor that is actually pretty straight forward.
