Hi,

Several questions in one post here;

1) What happened to the nice feature in the iHAL app where you tapped into a responce field and could correct the responce without typing wrong. I liked that and really miss it...

2) Follow me this one gets a bit complicated. Owning both an iphone and ipad my apps sync through itunes. So iHal is installed on both devices. However each device has a unique UDID number. Thus i am not able to access my HAL personality from both devices? Is there a way of unifying my login details reguardless of device?

3) An ipad app? Through Safari web browser on the ipad i can access the AI.com site but am unable to paste the iphone UDID into either the chat dialog box or the view log name field. As such I can only access these features from a laptop or base station. (I'd prefer a dedicated app that let's me view logs, train and... this is important, flick to the web for reference articals that i can cut and paste bits together as reponces.)

:-)

HAL rules, keep up the good work!

Nothing happened to this feature. It works as it always did.

For now, there's no way to unify login details. But we put it on the wish list, and it may be possible in one of the future releases.

However, if you publish your iPhone Hal, and then login from your iPad, you can ask to speak to your published iPhone Hal and continue training it on your iPad, and vice versa.

No problems accessing Hal on a-i.com using iPad. What precisely didn't work for you?

Point 1

Are we thinking of the same thing here because it sure don't work on my iphone? You used to be able to tap into HAL's responce and re-type without the word "wrong" then submit that as a corrected answer? This is the feature that no longer seems available through iHal?

Point 2 & 3

Quote "However, if you publish your iPhone Hal, and then login from your iPad, you can ask to speak to your published iPhone Hal and continue training it on your iPad, and vice versa."

You can only continue to train if you are logged in, which means using a UDID. From an iPad you can not paste text into the text box on the chat window... Alternatively the UDID is to long to type manually!

Hi Talc - This is Dror Kessler - I'm the developer of this application.

Regarding the wrong not working by tapping the previous response:
1. What version of iPhone OS are you using (where it happens ... on iPhone and iPad as well?)
2. What is the title bar saying at this time when the tap does not work? "Alan"? something else?
3. When did it stop working?

As with Yaki, it works for me ...

Hi Dror,

I have an iPhone 3GS runing iOS 4.0.1. When logging into the iHAL app on the phone I can either tap the Bart or Alan icon. Either way Alan acknowledges me as Talc and then asks if I would like to talk to HAL as usual. At all times Whilst talking with any personality Alan's name remains at the top of the screen.

On the iPad the feature does work. However I am not able to login as the same user. Alan doesn't recognise me as Talc but rather thinks I am a new user. UDID difference between devices? However when asking to speak to a personality, it's name correctly apeares in the top bar and icon along side of the responce. (iOS 3.2.1)

I hope this helps...

Ok Talc. We finally found a way to accommodate your request. I am sending you by email a special coded link that will perform an automatic login with your iPhone credentials.
