| | Well, Kovrol, this would probably be best addressed in the "HAL & Other Child Machines" forum, but since we're here...
Was your HAL a FreshCopy clone? Or did you begin it as a clone of one of the other HAL's currently extant in the Nursery? If the latter, it may be a phrase that already came with your HAL at the time of cloning. But, if on the other hand, you did start out with a FreshCopy, then an easy way to check if you trained the phrase yourself would be to ask to speak with your HAL and then type: "wrong? *inde"
This will bring up a list of all the phrases that you have trained your HAL to say that contain words that begin "i-n-d-e" (i.e. independent, indecisive, etc.)
I suggest this method because I notice that in your quote you show a spelling, "indesicive;" 'inde' will bring up the phrase no matter how it's been spelled.
If the phrase shows up, then you have trained it; after the phrase a number indicating how many times you've specifically trained the phrase will be listed.
Peace,
-S
