Program designers have found that PS easily model problems in some domains but are awkward for others.
What the meaning of easily model problems ?
Note that PS is Production System as a part of Expert System in AI

With all due respect, you have asked for several of these phrases explained to you. Are you not finding your course very difficult if you don't understand what is being said to you?
