Two pieces of source code are available, the Apache Hadoop http://hadoop.apache.org and Apache UIMA http://uima.apache.org . The other parts of IBM Watson are apparantly not made open source http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/02/21/ibm_watson_qa_system/print.html which makes at least the IBM Watson test results worthless for science.
