A mind has died but a new life has formed,
pushed to the brink and close to being warned,
no longer is there time for genius to be scorned,
Fraptulisous Personified is here and time has been reborn!
Time is now the question and how it will pass,
will an old ghost re-appear pushing his farse,
everyone can tell he's way too high up his mast,
some say his words come straight out his ....
However no more shall one mention stupid old ghosts,
ghosts should be hoovered and burned to a roast,
out of all things possible they should just be ignored the most,
so here is an ode - 'to old friends' - so to them I toast!
AI is already here and time is fast running out,
understanding intelligence and it implications is what it is all about,
intelligence is simply ability, this is what gives it clout,
this is the most important fact, you can trust me, you have no need to doubt.
So ponder what it is you are trying to acheive,
will it stop the world being brought to it's knees,
who will control the future amongst crys and pleas?
If we miss this chance to confront we will be killed like fleas.

Intelligence is a certain kind of ability. Intelligence is an ability of making associations.
We need an extremely flexible system up to its core to make every kind of possible associations. Making only some kind of associations is easy, but if such inherently restricted system is good enough for certain purposes, then by all means it should be used.
But one should avoid making conclusions about more advanced systems based on such simplified systems.

But it's interesting to know,
I'm never alone,
wherever I go,
goes a tiny echo.
It refuses to quiet,
because it has no life,
should perhaps find a knife,
as there is no hope for a wife.
It beeps and it whirs,
like a little cur,
cant even tell,
it has sh*t in its fur!
Never leads with ideas,
just bores all to tears,
hurts everyones ears,
quotes people saying "> cheers" (WTF?)

Hi P-Scrap, Will I Scream, and all others who might be a part of that ilk (you say that there are others but i have seen no one yet).
Thank you for writing this nice poetry about me.
You found out that i'm not the greatest genius ever lived and thus decided that i'm worth nothing. Because with your enormous egos you think that anyone who is anyhow smarter than you must be the greatest genius. But i, you know, am not smarter than Nicola Tesla who was able to create a whole industry out of nothing. He happened to be Serb which i also don't happen to be. And neither are you that smart that you can create a new industry, otherwise you had done it already.
I valuate myself objectively, based on how my work has been acknowledged by other people. There are some things i am good at, and i deal with that which i'm good at, and i'm good at by far not everything. No i'm not good at advanced 3d animations or anything such, my knowledge of 3d if this has any importance is restricted to most generic, because this is what i ever needed, and likely would ever need. Sorry. Then maybe also i'm not so good at solving problems in my life and am desperate about that, silly of me, i have solved many problems in my life many others were not capable of, so evidently i am not stupid, but sure i'm not the best in that, which i have not claimed. Means in that respect i may be stupid sometimes, sorry for that.
No i am not rich and my computer is a cheap one running Linux. With all the big expenses of my time and money which i have spent for researching True AI, wasting all my chances which i could have for career or otherwise making my life better, to that goal, better computer is what i could not afford any more. I'm really sorry for that.
I wanted to talk with you seriously, you wanted to fight against me with a reference to a clear hype (these, d-wave quantum computers, or such) in an attempt to show to everyone that you are smart and i am stupid. Nice try.
So, what else do you have against me?

Yet, you have not shown me anything original which you have done.
This thread was created to discredit me, now it becomes a thread where you have to prove your worth. Show me what original have you done, prove me that you are as good as me. You started an academic fight with me, now fight it to the end in an academic way. If you can, if not it should be honor for you if i even talk to you. By simple academic rules, remember you started the fight, now show your honor.

Heed that these are original things which did not exist before. It is not just a lot of programming, neither is it just talk.
