Even if build a machine intelligent enough to make human like decisions, its again the human that programmed the machine who are more intelliegent than those machines. So in my opinion, no machine can overpower human intelligence.

ahh, but what if we through some method not yet uncovered programmed a machine with the ability to learn and grow in intelligence? If such a thing would happen the computer would quickly surpass our own abilities through the sheer calculating power of modern computers...

So, if someone put a gun (a machine, no?) to your head, and pulled the trigger, would your intelligence save you?

Humans will never be overtaken by machines. There is no way that a machine can start to reason.

Would this argument make any sense if applied to physical or mechanical matters? Let's see:

"Even if build a machine strong enough to make human like motions, its again the human that assembled the machine who are stronger than those machines. So in my opinion, no machine can overpower human strength."

This doesn't seem very logical.

I enjoy all the talks about the question. To face the real fact, machines are better compared to human experts.

The process of buillding a machine to be intelligent involves gathering information from several experts in the selected field or profeesion. A knowledge of one man cannot be compared to knowledge gathered from many experts. This is what the macjine carries... grouped knowledge.
