Club was made stranger still when their chiarman, the charismatic Eldras shot himself last week end, leaving a note saying he fully expected to be resurrected by superintellignce within 1 minute in his (subjective0 time.
the club had patented the first strong AI in 2000 using genetic computing and neural networks spread across wide internet data bases, and had forged CERN and MIT contacts.
The French Collage artist Lise Weisgerber was murdered by Ken MacDonald another member of the club now serving life in September 2001, and several other members have intriguing histories.
One wonders if the predictions and claims were true whether such extreme behavious would not inevitably result as people tried to come to terms with such ideas as 'instant' resurrection and immortality.

The ELDRAS persona has a history of posting on various AI sites, but could now be perpetrating a hoax using aliases.
Google still has a cached version of the London AI Club page, and it reads like a UFO or conspiracy page.

Also the fact that the posters H H Worthy and Carol8 (And Jenny Grizzle) leave no email addresses.
Plus the fact that his AIpage went down, and thecry.com was revived posthumously, to let H H Worthy do his multilingual obituaries.
All these sites are made by the same person, like the one at o7.com.
But they do leave IP's. Does 213.78.67.125 sound familiar, yaki? That would be Carol8. It is run through a private IP with address 172.26.230.147. Some logs would display this one.
Could you compare it with H H Worthy's for me please? Removal of this thread would be enough answer, frankly.
Maybe someone should cut the drama and get on with his life, preferably by visiting some professional help.
Before his "great floating brian" cuts loose from raelity aoltogether. ;)

I have suggested the moderators at kurzweil.net to take measures to prevent multiple aliases on their forum from now on. They have picked that up.
John F. Ellis aka Gibbons or whatever lives, but has apparently blown himself in the foot in a rather painful manner.

the london A.I. Club may be running...there is no reason why such a prestigious organisation should cease, but ELDRAS the founder is absolutely dead.
I was at his funeral service in westminster Abbey and so was a represenrative of the US government.

Really? Then since he will not have any complaint at this point, please provide us with ELDRAS real name, address, phone number, etc.
That way interested parties could determine for themselves what they believe.

I found carol8's IP through the link below. You would not believe how many logs there are, and stay around for a while. Some people I find because they played a game months ago under their real name or a traceable alias, with the exact same IP.
Even assigned IP's remain mostly the same if you keep loggin in regularly.
Me, a hacker? Shame on you, Sam. I am an ex-DOJ official... My hands are tied... I wouldn't DARE ;)
(I had one machine keeping an eye on his IP for a day, though, he gets up quite late...) Though anybody can do that by simply pinging. (Yeah, eldras, that's what slowed down your machine... be glad I didn't UDP-bomb you to a grinding halt.)
Yep, they are the same. HansKnees is a misspelled(!) Dutch name. Hob Roogers pissed him off I think.

many famous people were at eldras' funeral service, including intelligence from both sides of the Atlantic.
I have explained there are public FREE terminals in the londion A.I. club AND in Leiceter Square public library round the corner.
I'm using one of them now.

I've had this posted to me by one emailer who says he knows about ELDRAS.
I found it most distasteful in the circumstances:
ELDRAS
he is potentially immortal
he survives on the blood of others
he has the strength of twenty men
he can shape-shift into the form of a wolf or a bat
he can appear as mist or elemental dust
he has no reflection in a mirror
he casts no shadow
he has hypnotic power over his victims
he can turn victims into vampires
But on the other hand, he does have limitations:
he may not enter a household unless he is invited in
he loses his supernatural powers during daylight hours
he must sleep on the soil of his native land
he can cross running water only at the slack or the flood of the tide
he is repelled by garlic and holy symbols (crucifix, holy wafer)
he can be destroyed by driving a stake through his heart and decapitating him

a. People think I was hacking. I was not.
b. If I am on this forum, and people trigger my firewall, and they do regularly, but hey, that's what it's for, can I not mention that?
c. What part of the user agreement would you be referring to?
d. You KNOW I never use abusive language unless provoked. I react. Is that inhuman? If you would conscientiously remove all such posts, I would not be forced to. So instead of calling it overreacting, like yaki before, I would suggest keeping a better eye on posts that are clearly over the top.
e. It's cold enough as it is in Holland. Antarctica does not have enough bandwidth either. ;)
And frankly, for me this prank has lasted long enough. I just got really upset by the fact that someone misused my gullibility and had me put up a bloody obituary for nothing. I was quite upset, then angry, now contemptuous. Case closed.
