What they mean is that there is an interesting element to textbooks. If you study chapter 7, you're likely to find that the chapter 7 questions are already answered there. :-)

I was afraid that it was a setup so that you could condemn me for crucifying another student...

So instead I "washed my hands" of the whole matter...

This question should have been posted to the AIMA-Talk forum at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/aima-talk/message/241 -- and I did so.

Persons who use AIMA to learn the preliminaries of AI ought to use AI4U to learn the realities of AI.

A repeat of the original poster's question, now on the official AIMA-Talk forum (look for answers)

Should've brushed your virtual teeth instead... ;)

The 'opinion police'? Doesn't that presume a shared opinion to begin with?

BTW Arthur, don't you think finking on JC is a bit ... overzealous, maybe? He might not like you now.

Not at all... They are the guys running around in snappy black uniforms that drag you into the back room and work you over when you show a different opinion than theirs...

And were you commenting on my virtual bad breath? Sorry, I will take a virtual tic-tac.
